The following instructions will help you set up your corporation for electronic payments in Massachusetts. 1. Go to https://wfb.dor.state.ma.us/webfile/Business/Public/Webforms/Login/Login.aspxmassgov
  2. Click on register
  3. Click – “I am registering to file and pay taxes for my company only”.
  4. Click – “My business is registered with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue to file/pay taxes. I now wish to register my business to file/pay electronically”.
  5. Fill in the registration form.
    • Tax ID
    • Legal Name of Business
    • Business legal address
    • Tax Types – “Corporation – Domestic (inside MA)” – assumes you are organized in Massachusetts. If organized outside of MA, please select “Corporation – Foreign”.
    • Tax Types – “Withholding tax” – only if the corporation has employees.
    • Tax Types – “Sales/Use tax” – if applicable to business.
    • Personal information – information should be entered for officer of corporation – e-mail address required as you will be e-mailed a confirmation.
    • If officer receives compensation from Corporation, you need to check off “yes”. If “no”, put explanation of “no employees for corporation”.
    • User name and password – be careful of instructions for password and make sure you write down somewhere safe.
    • Do not complete “Register for EFT – Debit payments” section.
    • Print out the pages (just use the internet explorer print options).
    • Check off – “I Agree”.
    • Click on submit.
    • The next screen will confirm your request has been submitted and is pending approval. The page will also have your reference number. Please print out the page and keep for your records.
  6. You can exit the system at this point.
  7. You should receive an e-mail from the state. The e-mail can take from 5 minutes to two days to arrive.
  8. Once you receive the e-mail confirmation, please log in again to: https://wfb.dor.state.ma.us/webfile/Business/Public/Webforms/Login/Login.aspx
  9. Log in using the user name and password you already set up.
  10. Select “Administer My Account”.
  11. Select “Update Authorized PTP”. (Located on bottom of page)
  12. Select “Authorize PTP”.
  13. Select “Robert Ercolini & Company LLP” (The state still has the firm listed as Robert Ercolini & Co). Assign the rights to file & pay taxes for Corporation – Domestic (or Foreign if applicable).
  14. Select “Account Management”. Then select “Manage Bank Accounts”
  15. You must add bank accounts and update your payment options. Please review each of these screens carefully and make sure you complete all the sections.
  16. After you are done updating, you should log off. If you think you forgot to update anything or made any errors, you can log back on at any time and make corrections.
